Maureen Foster

I was born in Kalgoorlie of an Aboriginal father and a Dutch mother.

Both my grandparents on my Father’s side were part of the Stolen Generation. My Grandfather was born at Noonkanbah Station in the Kimberley and my Grandmother was born in Bundaberg, Queensland.

I have previously exhibited artworks at the Wardan Cultural Centre near Yallingup and was also involved in the Gecko program run by the Catholic Education Department.
