Wayne Evans

I was born on the 10 June 1956. My first attempts at art many years ago were very simple drawings and paintings. A couple of stints in prison gave me plenty of time to ponder and go to art classes. Finding my true family of aboriginal descent and the tribal links that are a part of me and the blood that flows through my veins has brought out the best in me and helped me bring out the creativity I possess. My mother Stella May walks beside me, holding my hand as I paint. My paintings bring forth the true meaning of all aboriginal peoples, First Nations Peoples.
